Crotone finally sacked coach Giovanni Stroppa after six consecutive defeats in which they scored just two goals. A change of tactics is expected under Cosmi, moving to four at the back and a trequartista role for Junior Messias. Crotone has announced Serse Cosmi as their new coach until the end of the season. Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious.
