One Freiburg player could be eager to show his quality more than anyone in the next match. Nils Petersen is a former Bayern player having spent the 2011/12 campaign in Munich but has a place in history as Freiburg’s all-time top scorer with 95 goals. Manuel Neuer can claim the outright Bundesliga record for Bundesliga clean sheets. He’s currently tied with Oliver Kahn on 204, albeit having played far fewer games - 437 compared to 557.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious.
