You can look wherever you want, but the most interesting match to watch on Wednesday night will be in Rome when Lazio host Atalanta at Stadio Olimpico.
The Biancocelesti come into this season on the back of a record-breaking 2019-20, in which they qualified for the Champions League for the first time in over a decade. The club has managed to keep their star players, and Vedat Muriqi and Mohamed Fares came in to fill positions that Lazio desperately needed to strengthen. One of the league’s longest-serving coaches, Inzaghi is now on his fifth season in charge of Lazio, won Coppa Italia, two Italian Supercups and with Champions League qualification, he is the best man to maximize their potential.
Manuel Lazzari and Ciro Immobile made the most of their chances to give Lazio an opening victory in Sardinia, but also Cagliari missed a few. They failed to make their chances count and Immobile instead doubled Lazio’s lead. It was another Marusic assist, he pulled it back for the European Golden Shoe winner to finish it off.
Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi will be unable to call upon the services of a new signing, Kosovo international Vedat Muriqi, as well as Brazilian center-back Luiz Felipe and captain Senad Lulic, who are all out with injuries.

They didn't show signs of slowing down as they opened the new Serie A season with a 4-2 win at Torino on Saturday.
