Schalke will have to stop Hoffenheim if they're to avoid writing the wrong kind of Bundesliga history on Saturday.
The Royal Blues' miserable start to the campaign continued on Matchday 14 with a 3-0 loss at Hertha Berlin, meaning they are still rooted to the bottom of the table with just four points. The defeat also made it 30 games without a win in the Bundesliga across this season and last, one-off Tasmania Berlin's record of 31. Tasmania Berlin holds the record for most games without a victory in the Bundesliga (31), but Schalke's bad spell is the longest at 358 days. Christian Gross will hope their luck will change in his second game in charge of Schalke, and he can at least can count on Sead Kolasinac bolstering the defense.
