Sead Kolasinac's goal in the defeat to Stuttgart was his first in the Bundesliga since March 2017, when the Arsenal-owned man bagged the winner against Mainz. Huntelaar has scored six times in nine career meetings with Mainz, including a hat-trick in a 4-1 home win in 2014/15.

The managerial merry-go-round has been in full swing at Mainz, though they appear to have made it a case of third time lucky with the January appointment of former player and youth boss Bo Svensson.
